Sussex Innovation

Sussex Innovation was founded over 25 years ago to prevent talent drain to London and other major cities from tertiary education. For 25 years it was the home of 'making ideas happen - consultancy and offices.

I reviewed their strategic positioning to move them away from this early-stage start-up positioning and reposition them clearly as a service provider for ambitious scale-ups with the tagline Insight - Innovation - Impact.

The colourways were changed to be more vibrant and modern and to differentiate the Innovation centre from the more conservative University branding.

We also filled key strategic 'gaps' like bespoke support for female founders and an investment arm for businesses looking to scale as part of the repositioning.
